last day of work first day of glory

Well considering this is my FIRST blog EVER I wanted to experiment a little and see what the rave is all about!   My hope is to write most of these narratives via my blackberry, but we will see if I develop tendinitis first :), and then I may have to resort to internet cafe's where an actual full sized keyboard is available.  

Where to begin...well how about just a summary of what's to come.  

We plan to visit the East Coast for 2 months to spend time with my family in CT, NH and NY.  We are also planning on attending a friend's wedding in Lancaster, PA, "working" at a raw food zen meditation retreat center in Ithaca, NY, surfing the hurricane swells in Montauk, NY, reading LOTS of books, walking through those irresistibly cute towns of VT and NH, oh, and preparing for the more extensive trip ahead...

Then we fly to SE Asia (Bangkok) where we will travel for 4.5 months through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Nepal. and Indonesia (Bali).  

Our travels will bring us back to Vancouver, BC.  This will be our new home.
